Heroes On Quads is a story about how a group of civilian instructors hook up with an elite unit of Army special forces. Together they train and end up going toe to toe with the enemies of the United States. The civilians are recruited to teach the soldiers how to ride ATV's (All Terrain Vehicles). The soldiers teach the civilians how to be soldiers. The book is in two parts. In book one, the team is formed. In cooperation with the private sector a couple of models of high performance ATV's are developed and produced for the US Army. Honda and Palaris team up with army design engineers to do this. Civilian pro racers are recruited from all over the country. Individually they are great riders....

Postsecular History
This book explores how contemporary approaches to the meaning of time and history follow patterns that are simultaneously political and theological. Even after postsecular critiques of Christianity, religion, and secularity, many influential ways of dividing time and history continue to be formed by providential narratives that mediate between experience and expectation in movements from promise to fulfilment. In response to persistent theological influences within ostensibly secular ways of understanding time and history, Postsecular History revisits and revises the concept of periodization by tracing powerful efforts to divide time into past, present, and future, and by critiquing historical partitions between the Reformation and Enlightenment. Developing a postsecular critique of theopolitical periodization in six chapters, Postsecular History questions how relations of possession, novelty, freedom, and instrumentality implied in the prefix ‘post’ are reproduced in postsecular discourses and the field of political theology.

Jupiter's Travels in Camera
For four years during the 1970s Ted Simon rode a motorcycle around the world, something no-one had ever done before. He described his adventures first in regular bulletins for The Sunday Times and then, after his return, in Jupiter's Travels, a book that has become revered as a classic of travel writing. Plett (1820-1900), son of Johan Plett (1765-1833), married Sarah Loewen in 1841 and, as Mennonites, immigrated from Prussia to Kleefeld, Russia about 1854, later moving to Borosenko, Russia.
